Aikido helps build confidence and self awareness, and is a way to develop and refine your inner spirit, blending mind and body.

The Central Auckland Aikido Club was founded in October 2013 by Sensei Damon Cowley. He believes that Aikido helps build confidence and self awareness, and is a way to develop and refine your inner spirit, blending mind and body.

Damon Sensei attained his first black belt in 1994 at the Rotorua Aikido dojo, and currently holds a rank of San Dan (3rd Degree Black Belt). He has been training in Aikido for more than 25 years.

Training Times:

  • Tuesday nights (6:30 – 8pm)
  • Wednesday nights (6:30 – 8pm)

We welcome all new students aged 12 years and above

Mt Eden Citizens Building
487 Dominion Road, Mt Eden, Auckland.

(Next door to the Mt Eden War Memorial Hall)
