Aikido Manawatu is a non-profit organisation that welcomes adults of every race, gender, identity and ability.

Aikido helps build confidence and self awareness, and is a way to develop and refine your inner spirit, blending mind and body.

We offer a safe and friendly training environment and, as a 'not for profit' organisation we strive to keep our fees affordable for all.

MindBody Aikido is an art of learning to feel strong, stable and centred in yourself. From there you learn how to deal with incoming conflict, not by resisting or fighting, but by blending with and using your partner's energy.

The Rotorua Dojo is wholly owned by the members of the Rotorua Aikido Club, and it boasts a great mat space, changing rooms and a beautiful garden out back for reflection and peaceful tranquility.

The club is very friendly and the students welcome new members who can join any time, no matter the age.
